Pastor Jerry Eze of Streams of Joy International, the host of the online prayer programme NSPPD, has used his birthdays to announce charity projects. In September 2024, The Guardian and Pulse Nigeria reported that he marked his 42nd birthday by giving ₦100 million in grants to young entrepreneurs and handing over 18 houses built for widows.
