The information

The ledger and the directory are provided for general information. They are not pastoral counsel, medical advice, legal advice, or financial advice. A figure is only as good as the source named on its page. A placeholder row is not a figure. Read the disclaimer.

Your submissions

If you contact us or submit a listing, you confirm that what you send is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to send it. Do not submit someone else’s private contact details as if they were a shop front, and do not submit a business you know is closed or fictional. We may edit, reject, or remove a listing without notice.

You keep ownership of what you write to us. You give Churchlist permission to publish the business details of an approved listing, and to quote a correction where it improves a public page.

Our pages

Original text on this site belongs to Churchlist unless a page says otherwise. Sources we cite remain the property of their publishers. You may link to our pages. Please do not copy whole reports or the ledger onto another site and present it as your own. A short quotation with a link and the citation is welcome.

Acceptable use

Do not attack the site, probe it for other people’s messages, submit bulk junk, or scrape it so heavily that the server cannot serve readers. Automated access that respects a normal reading pace is fine.

Liability

The site is provided as it stands. To the extent the law allows, Churchlist is not liable for decisions you make from a listing or a statistic, including travel, purchases, donations, or arguments you repeat in public. Nigerian law governs these terms, and the Nigerian courts that have jurisdiction may hear disputes.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date above will change when we do. Continuing to use the site after that is acceptance of the new terms.
