This category records hospitals, clinics, maternity homes, community-health outreaches, and training of nurses or community health workers where a church, diocese, mission, or church-related board is the founder or operator.

Bed counts, outpatient visits, facilities, and staff are different statistics. A mission hospital that also runs a nursing school is healthcare here and education in the education category. Do not add those two rows into a third “impact” number.

A sourced entry should say whether the figure is a facility count or a patient count, which year it covers, and whether it is one institution or a denominational total. Ministry of Health lists, hospital annual reports, and peer-reviewed surveys are the kind of source this ledger is for. A fundraising brochure can be a lead, not the sole citation, unless it reproduces a figure from a named report.
