Privacy policy
Last updated 2026-11-02. This policy describes Churchlist.ng, the site you are reading.
Who we are
Churchlist runs this website to publish a sourced ledger of church contributions in Nigeria and a directory of Bible sellers. Contact us through the contact page.
What you send us
If you use the contact form we receive your name, email address, and message. If you submit a Bible seller we receive the business details you typed, plus your name and email so the listing can be checked. Your email is not shown on the public listing. Business name, city, address, phone, website, and a description of what the shop sells are meant to be public once the listing is approved.
Messages are sent by email when mail is configured on the server. If it is not, they are stored in a private file outside the public website so they are not lost. We do not sell personal information.
Analytics
If a Google Analytics 4 measurement ID and a Microsoft Clarity project ID are set in the site settings, those services load on public pages. They use cookies and similar technologies to measure how the site is used, including pages viewed and, for Clarity, interaction such as clicks. They are not loaded on the admin area, the sign-in page, error pages, or for a signed-in editor. If the IDs are empty, the scripts are not added.
Advertising
Churchlist may show advertising, including through Journey by Mediavine, once the site is accepted. Advertising partners may use cookies to measure and deliver ads based on visits to this site and others. You can opt out of personalised advertising through the Digital Advertising Alliance. Where the law requires it, a consent tool should be used so you can accept or refuse non-essential cookies. The layout leaves room for standard ad placements. It does not include ad code until an account is connected.
Hosting
The site is designed to run on ordinary web hosting. The host will keep technical logs, such as IP address and the page requested, as part of running the server. Those logs are the host’s, under the host’s retention rules.
How long we keep form messages
Contact messages and unpublished listing submissions are kept while they are needed to reply, to check a shop, or to keep a record of a correction. You can ask us to delete a message or an unpublished listing. Published business details can be corrected or removed through the contact form; say which listing.
Children
This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
